At your website, do you add the information you want to share with your customer or do you add the information your customers are looking for?
Do you know WHY your customers are visiting your website or do you asume?
I thought about this today as I wanted buy a service from a local company, and started by looking at their website. I could not find the product or services I was looking for. But I could read about the size of the company, number of employees and the company structure – and the company is probably proud of being big, but I do not care about this at all – I just want a big button stating: “JUST WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR”
So is your website built for you or for your customers? – Taste the difference, and take a look at your own website today – and think about the difference.
